About the product: Fathertime is a Kentucky bourbon from comedian Jim Gaffigan. Firstborn Edition is Fathertime's first release.

Jim fell in love with bourbon after he and his wife Jeannie learned an occasional drink provided a momentary break from parenting teenagers. If you have children, you understand.

Jim decided to do his own bourbon after declining multiple requests from big companies to put his name on a "celebrity spirit." Mainly because he doesn't consider himself a celebrity. After the most recent time he was pitched on a spirits deal, he thought “Why don’t I just try and do something myself? That might make it less cringy and I’d be able to personally guarantee it won’t taste like garbage. If the whole project fails, at least it will be on me." Shortly thereafter, he reached out to a college buddy from Louisville and the rest is history.

Jim doesn't profess to be a bourbon expert. But he did his research, sampled loads of barrels, and personally selected the bourbon that would become Fathertime. He hopes you enjoy drinking it as much as he does.

Each bottle of Fathertime's Firstborn Edition is personally signed by Jim.
