Hemp fabric shower curtain is the best alternative to the vinyl (polyvinyl chloride, PVC) shower liners which are made in a kind of plastic difficult to recycle and often toxic.

Hemp is best known for its strength and durability. Hemp is also naturally resistant to bacteria and fungi which makes both it an ideal materials for shower curtains. Shower curtains made from hemp will stop water from spraying outside your shower without a plastic liner. Although it will get wet during your shower it will air-dry quickly in a well ventilated bathroom.

tightly woven, heavy and thick 7 oz fabric (240 gr/m2)
measures 72 x 72 in. (183 x 183 cm)

Care Instruction:

The curtain will get wet during your shower. It is important to hang it outside of your bathtub after your shower and make sure that the curtain dry completely between each use.
Machine wash every few weeks (you may add a cup vinegar to the water for better results)
if you can, dry your hemp curtain in the sun once in a while. The sun is the best "natural bleach" available on the market !

I love this shower curtain. Exactly the right size, pretty color. It gets wet but does not let the water go through. It dries very quickly when spread out. Have not had to wash it yet. There is no mold ever! Would definitely buy again!

Easy to install, the color blends in with my bathroom very nicely, not too thick or too thin, and water does not leak through. It is a bit long (bottom gets really soaked in the bathtub), but dries up quickly enough when hung outside the bathtub after a shower.

I’m actually in love with my shower curtains as I didn’t think that was possible. It’s so quietly elegant. It’s made me want to re-do my whole bathroom. The only thing to watch for is that it shrinks in length. It was too long for by bathtub area so I shortened it, then it shrank and I had to readjust the length. But I didn’t mind. Just something to keep in mind.

The quality and the color were very nice it was soft and attractive the only thing I would have a complaint about is the fact that there were no grommets where the holes for the shower curtain clip to the rings.
